A call to all handmade jewellers

Covid-19, a stop to your activity or a new and fresh start?
Whatever Covid-19 is, if it is here to stay or not, as a jeweller, it should not impact on your creativity and activity. Your creativity and willingness to carry on despite the adversity in the world today should be commended. We are all hoping that the British consumer will soon turn to small local businesses and arts.
I am hoping that in the near future, the public will start looking for talented and creative craft businesses here in the UK.
Now that we are out of the European Union, it is too early to know if this is a bad thing or good thing. Only time will tell, but for the time being, we can only make sure that we do our ultimate best to satisfy the curiosity of the British public and draw them to us. We may still compete with other nations on good quality and affordability, but we still have a population which is learning to look around and appreciate what small businesses such as handmade jewellery, and the craft industry offers. So, I just want to say that the race is long but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
